For today...

Looking out my window...
The sun is shining and the snow is beginning to melt.
I am thinking...
Of how I need to rethink our daily & weekly routines
I am thankful for...
The fun time we had yesterday meeting up with
our son & his girlfriend & our daughter
for lunch & a movie
and for safe travels for everyone.
One of my favorite things...
Lazy days.
I am creating...
Some cross stitch owls.
I am wearing...
Grey Jeans & a peach shirt.
I am hearing...
Birds singing.
I am reading...
The American Lady by Petra Durst-Benning
and
When the Game is Over It All Goes Back in the Box by John Ortberg
I am learning...
That I need to take better care of myself
after having bronchitis twice in two months.
Around the house...
Starting to think spring cleaning.
In my kitchen...
Leftovers today.
In my garden...
Snow.
Pondering these words...
"Everything can be taken from a man but one thing:
the last of the human freedoms--
to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances,
to choose one's own way.
~John Ortberg~
A few plans for the rest of the week...
Working every day this week.
A moment from my day...
~A touch of spring~

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Oh how I love to hear birds singing. It's hard to believe it's time for Spring cleaning. Thanks for stopping by and leaving me a comment :)
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for spring! Thanks for stopping by.
DeleteHello, hello, hello ` squeals of joy! Alana, I am so glad that you found me. It was just last week that I was thinking of you and wondering if you still blogged...and how your family is doing. Please excuse my manners...I don't know if you even remember me or not...it is Dianna and when we were both blogging regularly I was blogging under Joyful in His Presence. When I thought of you last week I also thought of your parents. I know that they both had some health issues, his a bit more than her.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my hubby is now retired...June 2018 and we are loving life. Our grandkids are growing up by leaps and bounds.
I see that you are still working...so I know your time is limited, but let's try and keep in touch! xo
Oh my goodness!! I was SOOO excited to see your post. It absolutely made my day. I can't wait to get caught up :D
DeleteLove birds singing but hate the bronchitis part. I had pneumonia twice this winter and it was rough. Sounds like you are as ready for spring as I am. I enjoyed my visit to your blog.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you had pneumonia twice. That is rough. I think everyone is ready for spring! Thanks for stopping by.
