The Simple Woman's Daybook

For today...  Tuesday, September 8, 2015

Outside my window... Sunny with a few clouds and cool - temps are just above freezing this morning.

I am thinking...  Of medical terminology. Starting Medical Terminology 2 today.

I am thankful for....  A healthy brain.

From the kitchen...
Monday: Pork Chops & Gravy, Potatoes, Carrots & Turnip, Salad
Tuesday:  Cheesy Meatloaf, Oven Roasted Veggies, Salad
  Wednesday:  Hubby Cooks
  Thursday:  Hubby Cooks
Friday: Chicken Hurry, Rice, Green Beans, Salad
Saturday: Schewan Stir-fry over Noodles, Asian Salad
Sunday:  Roast Beef, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Corn, Broccoli w/Cheese, Salad

I am wearing... Jeans and a white top with black trim

I am creating... Still working on a new office/crafting space.

I am reading... Still reading the "The Prodigal Daughter" by Jeffrey Archer.

I am praying for...  Guidance in upcoming decisions that need to be made.

Pondering these words... Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing. ~Pele~

I am hoping...  For a nice fall.

I am hearing... The computer running.

One of my favorite things...  Fall

A few plans for the rest of the week...

  1. I like the quote, especially the last part. That's something that isn't often mentioned in how to be successful. It's so important to feel passionate about what you take on. Good luck with medical terminology! My mother was a nurse, and I've often thought that nurses and medical people have to learn a second language

    2. Sounds like a full and wonderful week. I want to eat at your house!

May God bless your healthy mind and help you memorize all that terminology!
