I have been enjoying my little pansies outside so much
that I decided to bring a few inside to enjoy.
My daughter picked out these plants
and I think she picked a wonderful color.
I had these little lavender candles in storage.
I thought they complemented the pansies nicely
and I was happy to find somewhere to use them.
My mom gave me these wonderful little napkin rings.
And this set with purple pansies were also a gift.
I love pulling things from around the house
to create a pretty table.

I love the colour and what pretty pansies. I've actually managed to keep some pansies from the rabbits by putting them in high pots. Also love the china...they would go well with the violet ones I put in my last blog!! ...just a thought!!! Mind you I also love the napkin rings...and so precious from your mother! Thanks for this it's lovely! Joan
ReplyDeleteWe had rabbit problems a few years ago but not so much the past few years - thankfully. Thank you for your kind comments!
DeleteI love the delicacy of pansies. I wish they could survive the heat all summer! Yours are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by, Mary Alice
I agree! This is the first time I am trying pansies in this spot and hope there is enough shade that they will still do well once we get some heat.
DeleteYour little purple pansies are precious. Mary
ReplyDeleteThank you Mary!
DeleteI love your purples and to be able to use things around the house and things your Mother gave you are great. I spend the last two days staying with my father as my Mother died in Aug. I found 3 shepherd hooks and some other items I brought home with me to arrange in my memory garden. I also love your clearance bucket below it's beautiful. I love my thrift store finds and can't wait until Fri. to go back to the beach to head to more thrift stores as they have tons where I live during the summer:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you join me so I can keep up with your wonderful site. Thank you, Kathy
How wonderful to have a memory garden! Thrift store shopping is so much fun. Thanks for stopping by!

DeleteCan I borrow this tablescape? Ha! I have some sweet little appy plates with pansies on them and no flowers that will look as good as yours. I love purple tables! Nice break from the red, white and blue this week!

ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah. I don't know why I don't use lavender more often, it is such a pretty, soft, delicate color.
DeleteOh how pretty your pansies are. Mine are fried in the heat. Hopefully some will come back in the fall.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your pansies. We're just starting to get some real heat here so I guess I will see how they hold up.
DeleteThe rabbits ate all the pansies around here! Glad you are able to still enjoy yours! They look beautiful with all your other treasures.
