When we went to the mountains for a day trip
my daughter found these wonderful little
hummingbird salt and pepper shakers.
She just couldn't resist buying them
and then asked if she could do a tablescape with them.
"Of course you can!"
I told her :)
She started off with the centerpiece
and her favorite teacup.
I thought she pulled all the colors together so well.
Then we talked about which dishes to use
and whether to stay with the white napkins or to go with something different.
And then it was time for her to head off to work
so I finished setting the table with her choices.
She chose to use our everyday Corelle dishes.
And stayed with the white butterfly napkin
and the pink floral napkin ring.
I think this is one of my favorite looks,
it is so delicate and pretty.
And my daughter's first tablescape was created!
