Jasper Tramway

If you ever have a chance to visit Jasper National Park
I would highly recommend that you stop
and go up the Jasper Tramway

It gives you a spectacular view of the mountains
and of Jasper National Park.

There are many options once you reach the top,
from dining in the restaurant,
to strolling around and taking in the panoramic scenery,
or hiking on up to the summit.

If you are lucky the clouds will lift on Mt Robson,
the highest mountain in the Rockies.

From the top of the tramway you can see the Town of Jasper
as well as numerous lakes and rivers,
all of which are in so many shades of vivid blue.

Pyramid mountain overlooks Jasper.

From the summit you can get a 360 degree view of the mountaintops.

It's a pretty amazing feeling to be standing and looking level with the mountain peaks!

There are man made benches but I opted for a more natural spot
that offered protection from the cool breeze.

This friendly little squirrel popped out to say "hi"
although I suspect he may have been looking for food!

~Finding the amazing in the simple~
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. What beautiful views! We had friends who lived in Cheyenne many years ago. We took a day while visiting with them to go into Colorado and we had such fun exploring the Rockies. Breathtaking views, such as you have here! Thanks so much for sharing your pics!
