Thou hast given so much to me,
Give one thing more, - a grateful heart;
Not thankful when it pleaseth me,
As if Thy blessings had spare days,
But such a heart whose pulse may be Thy praise.

Another week has flown by
and as we gather around our Sunday table
it is time for us to stop and reflect
on the many things we have to be thankful for this week.
This week I was able to spend some quality time with my son.
It is harder now that he is grown
which makes the time all that much more special
I am thankful for my in-laws 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration.
It was great to visit with extended family
but also to celebrate 50 years of marriage.
What a heritage they are passing down to their family.
I had a wonderful Skype time with my daughter this week,
catching up on all the news.
I am thankful for the good weather we have had this past week
which allowed us to finish the outside Christmas décor.
I am thankful for the Christmas lights on display as I drive around our neighborhood.
They bring me such joy!
What are you thankful for this week?

It's so good to take time and give thanks for all the blessings in our lives. My family and friends top the list for me as well as good health and living in the USA. Also, as the weather has changed drastically colder these last 3 days, a warm home is right up there, too. Thanks for your post to help us remember to give thanks for our many blessings.
