I am praying for... Direction for my daughter regarding her internship

Pondering these words...
When we understand that He is Lord of our time, we realize that interruptions are of His planning.  They become opportunities to serve rather than plagues to keep us from functioning.
Karen Mains

I am still hoping... To finish some projects.

I am hearing... Hubby typing on laptop.

Around the house... Cleaning & organizing.

One of my favorite things... Waking up to the smell of fresh brewed coffee.

A few plans for the rest of the week...
~Monday:  Work outside - weather permitting
~Tuesday: Deep Cleaning around the house
~Wednesday: Housework
~Thursday: Errands & Grocery Shopping
~Friday: Card Class
~Saturday: Brother-in-law & family over for supper

Here is a picture thought I am sharing...

~While the weather outside was frightful
it was a perfect opportunity to enjoy a homemade Café Mocha~

  1. I see you have some African Violets. My kitchen window is filled with them! I knew there was some reason I liked you. ;) I'm adding your daughter's internship to my prayer journal. It will be exciting to see how the Lord answers prayer! I like the goals you have set for yourself under I Am Creating! I'm doing the same thing otherwise it won't happen. Have a wonderful weekend, Alana

    1. I had failed for years at being able to grow African Violets but in the past two years my green thumb must have kicked in - lol! Mine aren't blooming right now but I just transplated them so I am hoping for some blooms soon! You will have to share some pics of your African Violets! :) I figured I had better give myself a timeline as some of the projects I am working on for Christmas and I want to make sure I am done with a few weeks to spare! I hate trying to finish things at the last minute because I thought I had more time than I actually did :o

    1. Thanks Vicki! Even if she does get the internship we are hoping she will be able to get a month at home and then we would also take our holidays and go visit her. We will see what happens. Thanks so much for stopping by!
