A little while ago I showed you my
Today I am going to show you
what the other side of the door looks like.
It started because I wanted to try and hide the view under the deck
at least until we can get it closed in.
It doesn't completely hide the view
but it certainly does draw your eye away from it.
This year I have alyssums and pansies
as well as chives, mint and lemon balm in the larger pots.
Since you are here let me show you around.
Up on the deck my tomato plant is doing very well.
I wish my tomato plants in the garden were just as happy.
My first Livingstone Daisy is blooming.
This is the first year I have grown these.
The lily-of-the-vally is now blooming
and the scent is heavenly.
And the virginia creeper on the garage
is filling in nicely.
And before you go stop in and say hello
to our momma robin.
Even she added a touch of color to her home :)

ReplyDeleteThank you Shannon!
ReplyDeleteDo you find it difficult keeping up with the watering in your containers? I have come to really appreciate and depend on the moisture retaining gels that I mix in the soil of my pots and baskets... it has made life a lot easier... Larry
ReplyDeleteLarry - I use specially formulated soil for pots.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed your post. . .I have to admit I lingered at the tomatoes. . .wanted to pick one. . .
ReplyDeleteThey are just outside my deck door so it has been wonderful to just open the door and pick some fresh cherry tomatoes for lunch.
