Welcome to our front porch!
Once the Christmas decorations came down
it just sat so bare and empty
waiting for it's summer dress up.
As you come up the front steps
you are greeted by the cheerful little lobelias.
They always do so well on the front steps.
And some solar jar lights.
The geraniums on either side of the door are so bright and cheerful.
This is our favorite place to have breakfast
on a hot summer morning.
I found this lovely little lantern at Pier 1 Imports
for a great price!
And my daughter gave me these cute little tealights
for Mother's Day.
All the linens and cushions I found at JYSK.
This is my favorite place to stop for a few minutes
put my feet up and enjoy a good book and a cool drink!
These cute little candle holders
I found at Dollarama.
Thanks for visiting my front porch!

ReplyDeleteHow I would love to sit in your garden swing in the evening with those solar jar lights all aglow! Are they the same design as the ones you made for mom's day...they look different somehow. I really want to make some for my back yard!
ReplyDeleteYour new porch looks great especially with the new solar light application.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful porch! I adore lobellia, and the little solar lights are perfect!

Thank you everyone! They are the same as I made for Mother's Day except I didn't add the little flower and just tied a knot in twine instead.
ReplyDeleteSooooo lovely!!! What a gorgeous, clean, uncluttered, inspired porch...I can just see you there with your breakfast! I love the solar lights by the flower pots. I'm so glad you've shared your lovely home with us :-D
