For today... Sunday, June 3, 2012
Outside my window... Partly cloudy - it looks like there are some rain clouds moving in and there is just a slight breeze.I am thinking... Of how much work gardening is but what a sense of satisfaction to see everything growing.
I am thankful for... Our little piece of land that allows us to grow things.
From the kitchen...

I am praying for... My daughter finds a full time job.
Pondering these words... Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of. ~Benjamin Franklin~
I am still hoping... The weather will finally warm up as the nights are still near freezing.
I am hearing... My son typing in his room, the air purifier.
Around the house... We are building a storage shed in the backyard near the garden.
One of my favorite things... Being outside.
A few plans for the rest of the week... Farmsitting for my parents, going to Calgary for a car show, yard work & housework and one errand day.
Here is a picture thought I am sharing...

ReplyDeleteMaria - I try to put most of the recipes on my blog. If you are looking for one in particular and can't find it just drop me a note and I will send it to you :)
I love that you share your diary with us. It is so inspirational. I wish I could be as organized as you to have such great meal plans.

Patricia - It's organization out of necessity. If I didn't plan my meals we wouldn't eat as I am not a great spur of the moment person :)
ReplyDeleteYour menu looks delicious! My husbands loves to garden. He will plant whereever there is a spare foot of space :)
