Mother's Day Card

Do you have one of those hobbies
that when you get into it
you totally lose track of everything else
that is going on around you?
I have discovered that
is exactly what happens
when I begin creating a card,
which makes it a perfect evening activity for me.
I am not a night person so by the time
evening hits I just want to vegetate.
But, if I sit down and begin creating a card
the evening flies by and I totally forget
that I am tired - until I am done that is.
But it is a wonderful way to spend an evening.

For this Mother's Day Card I found this wonderful paper
with daisies and complementing diamond paper.
I paired it with a dark purple cardstock
which complements the daisy centers.

I added ribbon down the center
and the purple shows through
giving it a wonderful design.
I added the daisy sticker and the butterfly sticker.

On the inside of the card
I continued the ribbon
and added a complementing white flower sticker
and another butterfly to continue the theme.

A larger light purple butterfly complements
the other corner along with a special verse I found.

I love creating pretty things
for the ones I love :)

I know your friends and family must love the time and effort you put into making them a card with a special note for them. Thanks for sharing with us at your Cozy Home Party!
