Simple Chicken Bake

Here is another one of those wonderful recipes
that I found in a Company's Coming Chicken Cookbook
where you throw the ingredients together
and put in the oven and let it cook.

Ingredients
1 cup long grain rice, uncooked
3 lbs. chicken parts
10 oz. condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 2/3 cup of water
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 tsp. paprika

Put rice into a 3-quart casserole.  Lay chicken parts over top.
In medium bowl stir remaining 4 ingredients until mixed.
Pour over chicken.  Cover.
Bake in 325F oven for 1 1/2 to 2 hours
until rice and chicken are cooked.
Serves 4 to 6.

This is one of my hubby's favorites :)

  6. Hi Alana, I have had this exact recipe ever since hubby and I got married. Almost 40 years ago. My MIL gave it to me. I love how quick and easy it is and pretty darn tasty too!
