Great Finds

While we were out garage saleing I came across a few finds that I was thrilled with.

Every time I go to a craft show there is a table that has beautiful painted glassware and I have always wanted to try it.  Well, for some crazy reason I think I may some extra time this winter and I came across these painting books so I can't wait for winter to come.

I also came across this portfolio filled with scrapebooking paper and no, I didn't pay the price listed.  She wanted to get rid of it so I got it for a great price!

And a few decorations to add to our already bulging Christmas collection.
I can't wait to put them up!

There are two reindeers here and one is Rudolph.
I have wanted some wired decorations for our front yard for years but they were always outside of our budget so now I finally have some!

I agree that garage sales are a great place to find neat stuff. One time, I have got a round silver plate tray for $2 that I use to collect all my perfume bottles. Another time I got a Fire King plate for 25 cents ( think Martha Stewart's favourite green colored dishes). I have seen the same plate for as much as $60.
Your finds are wonderful because, I am sure they will inspire many creative projects and fill up long winter evenings.

  2. Jennifer, those sound like some great deals. I can't wait to get busy and try out some new projects this winter. At least it gives me something to look forward to during the cold weather :)
