The Simple Woman's Daybook

For today...  Sunday July 26, 2015

Outside my window...

I am thinking...  How nice it is to be able to sit and relax today :)

I am thankful for....  The fresh veggies from my parent's garden

From the kitchen...
Monday: Pork Chops & Gravy, Fresh Garden Yellow Beans, Mashed Turnip, Salad, Angel Food Cake w/Fresh Garden Strawberries
  Tuesday:  Hubby Cooks
  Wednesday: Out
Thursday:  Teriyaki Salmon, Terkiyaki Vegetable Stir-Fry, Rice, Lemon Pudding
Friday: Chicken & Rice, Fresh Garden Carrots, Fresh Garden Green Beans, Salad, Brownies
  Saturday: Leftover Smorg
Sunday: Ham, Scalloped Potatoes, Broccoli, Carrots & Turnip, Salad, Chocolate Trifle

I am wearing... Black sweat pants & a fuschia top

I am creating... A new office/crafting space

I am reading... "The Prodigal Daughter" by Jeffrey Archer

I am praying for...  Family & friends

Pondering these words... "Time = Life, Therefore waste your time and waste your life or master your time and master your life." ~Alan Lakein~

I am hoping...  For good weather for our upcoming camping trip

I am hearing... The dishwasher, our daughter talking, the neighbor's dog barking - again, the wind blowing in the trees outside.

One of my favorite things...  My Neato vacuum

A few plans for the rest of the week...
~Monday:  School, bookwork, home dailies & baking
~Tuesday:  School, dailies, hopefully some scrapbooking & work
~Wednesday: School home dailies, hopefully some more scrapbooking & work
~Thursday:  School, weekly cleaning & baking
