The Simple Woman's Daybook

For today...
Tuesday, November 2, 2021

Looking out my window...

I am thinking...
Of how I am not ready for winter to begin.

I am thankful for...
That we have had such a long, beautiful fall.

One of my favorite things...
Feeding the birds.

I am creating...
~Coloring pages with a new book & watercolor pencils~

I am wearing...
Black joggers and a red sweatshirt.

I am hearing...
The fireplace.

I am reading...
Dune by Frank Herbert
and
Subversive Sabbath by A.J. Swoboda

Around the house...
It is time to start putting away fall decor
and to start thinking Christmas.

In my kitchen...
~Banana Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting~

In my garden...

Pondering these words...
"True community is not born of our efforts
in creating a sense of community--it is the natural
outcome from the act of loving other people."
~From 'Subversive Sabbath' by AJ Swoboda~

A few plans for the upcoming week...
~Working~
~Dentist Appointment~
~Doctor Appointment~
~Grocery Shopping~
~Visit with Parents~
~Movie Night~
~Day Trip to the Mountains~

A moment from my day...
~I once again have a Christmas Cactus~

  2. Hi Sujatha, Thanks so much for stopping by :) Snow does make for very pretty pictures. We haven't had too much yet there this year though.
