My daughter made it home safe and they had fairly good roads. There was a storm warning but the storm didn't come until late Sunday night and they were home before it came. She loved the college and is planning on sending in her application this week.
This week I need to:-
1. Hubby has a cold so I need to make sure he gets the extra attention and nutrition to get over it quickly.
2. Get photos and transcripts and finance forms ready for the college application.
3. Finish up the Valentine's Day projects.
4. I've started a new x-stitch project and I would like to have it done by the end of February so I need to make sure I get some work done on it.
5. Do some extra bleaching and cleaning to keep those cold germs away from the rest of us.
6. Keep the week low key so we can all get some rest.

I have a cross stitch that I need to get working on as well. I need a new aida cloth for it because the one that came with it is so tiny I can't even see it.
ReplyDeleteHi Alana, I'm sorry to hear your family is unwell, I pray they recover quickly!
ReplyDeleteThat's good news about your daughter. It must be a relief for you.
Your x-stitch is going to be beautiful if it's anything like the one you just finished :-)
I hope you have a blessed week dear lady.

Dear Alana,
ReplyDeleteI pray your daughter is successful in her application and thankful that she returned safely.
I am hoping to start the new baby's hand print cross stitch soon too but I really want to work on one that is on linen. I love working with lined and it is a beautiful old fashioned girl with a wreath on her head and candles.
I pray you are able to keep the germs at bay.
Enjoy your family this week
God Bless
Gae
hip-chick - It's unbelievable how tiny some of the cloth can be. Good light and a magnifying glass are sometimes needed :)
ReplyDeleteTrish - Thank you. Hubby seems to have gotten the worst of the flu.
Gae - I can't wait to see the x-stitch projects. They sound beautiful.
